Do my friends need to pay?

Never. Friends respond to your link without creating an account or paying anything. Pro is just for the person organising events.

What counts as an “active event”?

An active event is one where the end date is still in the future and the event isn’t archived. Past and archived events don’t count toward the limit.

Can I cancel the monthly plan?

Yes, any time from your account page. You keep Pro access until the end of the billing period.
